Sterling Moore re-signs with the New Orleans Saints!

Sterling Moore has re-signed for another year with the New Orleans Saints, making this his 7th season in the NFL. This talented cornerback’s versatility and experience will be a cornerstone of the Saints 2017 defensive team. Moore has played in thirteen games with the Saints with twelve starts. Last season he recorded a career-high fifty-six tackles as well as thirteen passes defensed and two interceptions. Moore also had an impressive eight hundred six defensive snaps. Moore has traveled a long way since he graduated from Deer Valley High School in 2007 but the skills he learned there continue to serve him in the NFL.

Moore joins Taiwan Jones, the Oakland Raiders running back, and De’Ondre Wesley, the Baltimore Ravens tackle as the Deer Valley alumni currently playing in the NFL. We here at the Antioch Sports Legends Museum are proud to celebrate their accomplishments!
